1. Introduction

Tata WPL and IPL
These terms and conditions ("T&Cs") govern the "#SpotAnyGreenDot Contest" (the "Contest") organized by Tata Sons Private Limited (the "Organisers") as a part of the Green Dot Ball joint initiative by the Organisers and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (the "BCCI") for the Tata WPL/IPL 2026 season. By taking part in the Contest, you (the "Contestant/Participant/Entrant") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to individuals who are residents of India and are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
3. Contest Period
The contest period is between 9th Jan to 14th May 2026 for Tata WPL/IPL 2026.
4. Contest Rules
- The Contest is an online event and will be organised on a digital platform.
- To participate, contestants must click a picture of any green coloured dot/circle/sphere/oval/round object and upload it on www.greendotball.com OR to their public profiles on at least one of the following social media platforms – Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), or Facebook OR participate in the DotSpotter AR green dot ball game.
- Contestants must include the hashtag #SpotAnyGreenDot in the post caption as well as tag @greendotball for the entry to be considered valid on their Instagram profile.
- Contestants must include the hashtag #SpotAnyGreenDot in their tweet for the entry to be considered valid on X.
- There is no entry fee for participation.
- Multiple entries are allowed provided that each entry is different.
- Lucky winners will be selected randomly from all the eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
- The winners will be announced on the Instagram handle @greendotball.
5. Prizes
The Organisers may take any action necessary to verify Participants' compliance with the Terms and Conditions of participation or undertaking before awarding a prize. Participants understand and acknowledge that even though they may be announced as a winner, if their compliance with the Terms and Conditions of participation/ undertaking cannot be verified to the satisfaction of the Organisers, then the Organisers will select an alternative winner in its sole and absolute discretion. The decisions of the Organisers shall be final and binding, and the Organisers will not correspond with the Participants about the determination of the winners.
Winners would receive Tata WPL/IPL merchandise and Tata WPL/IPL 2026 tickets. The exact fixtures would be announced in winner posts on @greendotball (Instagram).
6. Terms and Conditions
- By participating, Entrants agree to be bound by these T&Cs and the decisions of the Organisers.
- Employees of the Organisers, Corporate Brand and Marketing Team at Tata Sons Private Limited and Tata Services Ltd along with identified agency partners for the event, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to win.
- The Participants hereby acknowledge and agree that all video/image/asset shared as a part of this Contest (the "Content") shall become the perpetual property of the Organisers with full rights and ownership and the Participants grant the Organisers an irrevocable, worldwide, exclusive, royalty-free and perpetual right over the same. The Organisers can choose to use the Content across any medium, at any time at its sole and absolute discretion without any prior intimation or notification to the Participant.
- The Organisers shall be entitled to use the Content for advertising purposes on their social profiles, handles, websites, etc., including re-shares of the original post.
- The Content posted by the Participant must be original and taken by the contestant themselves and should not breach any party's intellectual property rights.
- The submissions must comply with the following rules and may be disqualified if the Organisers have reason to believe, in their sole discretion, that the submission does not comply with the following requirements:
- Adhere to the terms of the Terms and Conditions of Contest/ any additional rules stated at the beginning of the Contest.
- Not violate the terms of use of any social media service, website, mobile application, software, software license terms or any other platform used in connection with the content.
- Not containing, depicting or referring to any crude, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, disparaging, discriminatory, offensive, illegal or otherwise unsuitable language activity or other content.
- Not contain, depict or refer to any content which disparages or refers to the Organisers negatively, or any other person or entity; and
- Not contain any content that violates any law or any third party's rights (including privacy and intellectual property rights).
- Submissions will not be accepted once the relevant deadline lapses.
- The Organisers reserve the right to substitute a prize. All taxes and other expenses, costs, or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of winners. Prizes cannot be resold or exchanged by the winners.
- Organisers will not be responsible for anything other than the Tata WPL/IPL Merchandise and Tata WPL/IPL 2026 match tickets.
- The winners will be contacted on their phone numbers. If no response is received within 24 hours, a new winner will be selected and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.
- Participants are hereby informed that Organisers do not charge or pay any participation fee for taking part in the Contest. Any offer or communication made by any third-party requiring a participation fee in cash or kind and/ or offering money should not be entertained and the Organisers shall not be liable and hereby reserves any liability in this regard.
- The Organisers reserve the right and sole discretion to alter/amend/modify the Contest and/or these T&Cs at any time without any prior notice whatsoever, including but not limited to the right to make any changes to the Contest, its format, date, rules, prizes and in any matter related to the Contest.
7. Liability
- The Organisers are not responsible for any technical malfunctions, lost or delayed entries, or any other issues that may arise during the Contest.
- By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Organisers, their affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
- The Organisers, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred because of usage of the prize by the winner.
- Organisers shall neither be liable nor responsible for any loss suffered by the Participants if they act in response to any such fraudulent offer made by any third party. Participants shall promptly inform the Organisers in the event of receipt of any such fraudulent offer.
- If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the Organisers may substitute the prize at their discretion.
- It is the responsibility of the winners of the Contest to fully comply with all rules and regulations laid down by the BCCI, the local cricket association, franchise, and any other local/governing authorities. The Organisers will not be responsible for denial of entry or removal from stadium premises due to non-compliance.
8. Privacy
By participating in this competition, you voluntarily provide your consent for Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd. to collect and process your personal data including but not limited to name, contact details, mailing address and any other information submitted by you at the time of participation in the Contest. You also acknowledge and consent to provide further information that may be requested upon winning the Contest. The Organisers may use or disclose this information to affiliates, service providers and/or advisors globally for the purpose of (i) administering and conducting the Contest; (ii) communicating with you regarding the Contest Prize, (iii) any marketing and service related communication; and (iv) complying with applicable legal obligations.
Your consent is free, specific, informed and voluntary, and you may withdraw it at any time by direct messaging us on @greendotball on Instagram with the understanding that withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to participate in the Contest but will not affect the legality of processing conducted prior to withdrawal. Upon withdrawal of consent or completion of the specified purposes, we will erase your personal data unless retention is required under applicable law.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions of participation/undertaking will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and in the event of any claim, action or dispute arising under or relating to these Terms and Conditions, will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts at Mumbai.
11. Miscellaneous
- The failure of the Organisers to comply with any provision of the Terms and Conditions of participation/ undertaking due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, electricity failure, transportation disruptions, communication failure, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, epidemic, pandemic, actions of governmental authorities (except compliance with applicable codes and regulations), or any other events or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organisers will not be considered a breach by the Organisers. The Organisers are not responsible for telecommunication, network, electronic, technical, or computer failures of any kind; for inaccurate transcription of submission information; for errors in any promotional or marketing materials or in the Terms and Conditions of participation/ undertaking; for any human or electronic error; or for submissions that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed, lost, late, damaged, or returned.
- These Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions, or representations contained in any other promotional or advertising materials for the Contest. In the event of any inconsistency, conflict, ambiguity, or discrepancy between any other advertisements etc., these Terms and Conditions shall always prevail.
- If any act, omission, event, or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Organisers and which prevents the Organisers from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Participant(s) acknowledge and agree not to hold the Organisers liable for any failure to perform or for any delay in performing their obligations.
- The Participants acknowledge and agree to not hold the Organisers liable for the outcome of the Contest and any liability on the Organisers is hereby specifically fully waived by the Participants possible under applicable laws.
12. Safety, Lawful Conduct & Restrictions
- You agree that you shall not trespass or enter restricted, dangerous, or private property. You agree that you shall obey all applicable laws, traffic rules, venue rules, and safety advisories and shall be prudent while participating in the Contest.
- You agree that you shall not capture any photos that include identifiable faces, license plates, or private and personal information of any other person.
- You are solely responsible for your safety while playing. The Organisers disclaim liability for injuries, accidents, property damage, property trespass or statutory violations arising/occurring on account of your participation in the Contest.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organisers from any losses or damages suffered by the Organisers or claims made against by the Organisers on account of breach of any of the rules contained herein or breach of any applicable law or losses caused to any third party.
- You agree that any form of cheating, spoofing location, using bots, tampering with the app, interfering with other players, or any illegal/abusive conduct is not permitted and the Organisers have the right to not consider your submissions if they are found in violation of the same.
13. How the Dot Spotter Game Works
- After registration and permissions are granted, you will see your position and the selected region with virtual "Green Dots."
- You must physically go to within a predetermined radius of a dot to unlock the AR view.
- Inside the AR experience, you can capture a photo of the Green Dot to complete that location.
- Only one submission per dot location per participant is allowed and will be accepted.
- Each captured photo is automatically submitted to GDB.com and is logged against your registered mobile number.
- After collecting all available dots in your area, you'll reach the completion page, entering you into a chance to win WPL tickets and/or merch ("Prizes").
